Zhang Jukui, vice chairman and secretary-general of China Baking Sugar Association, notified the development of the bakery and sugar products industry in 2018, and made a specific statement on the work of the association in 2018 and the main points of work in 2019. According to the statistics of enterprises above designated size by the National Bureau of Statistics and industry calculation data, in 2018, the total output of domestic bakery and confectionery products (including pastries/bread, biscuits, candy and chocolate, frozen beverages, instant noodles and candied fruit) was about 2646.36 10,000 tons, the main business income was 563.405 billion yuan, an increase of 6.12%; the total profit was 51.321 billion yuan, an increase of 12.75%; the export delivery value was 17.966 billion yuan, an increase of 9.27%.
