History of MATSUTANIYA Company

During the period of the Republic of China, the ancestors of the Zhu brothers, in Jiugu Old Street, Susong County, inherited traditional Chinese pastry craftsmanship, processed Hui-style moon cakes and hair cakes to make ends meet.

In 1995, the six Zhu's brothers, with their salaries for heating and savings from working outside the home, joined forces to acquire the Susong County state-owned enterprise "Kangle Food Factory" and established "Anqing Zhushi Food Co., Ltd." to produce biscuits, cakes and other products.

In 2006, the company moved again and settled in Susong Economic Development Zone, Anhui Province, and established "Anhui Meidai Food Co., Ltd." with Zhu Zhiguo as chairman. During more than ten years of development, the company has grown rapidly and has become the leading agricultural industrialization enterprise in Anhui Province, the top ten Chinese bakery and sugar products (biscuits) enterprises, and the 2016 outstanding cake shop in the Chinese bakery industry. It has won Anhui Famous Brand and Anhui Province Green factory and other titles.

In 2017, Chairman Zhu Zhiguo traveled across the oceans and traveled to Japan many times to seek business opportunities.

In 2018, "Song Gu Wu Food(Anhui) Co., Ltd." was jointly established with the well-known Japanese Food Research Co., Ltd. and a management consulting company. In just one year, Matsutaya Company has grown rapidly and has become an exemplary unit of assured consumption in Anqing City and an outstanding enterprise in the bakery and sugar products industry for the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening up.
